Frit, or crushed glass, is first fused into a solid sheet of glass and then bent into the desired shape. This light fixture is comprised of seven bent glass panels, suspended with steel cable. This round fixture is 38" in diameter, the lower section was built with five sections of bent glass, while the upper section had a number of ribs of glass lining the metal. Rounded glass jewels were affixed to the surface of the ribs and metal for this distinctive project. Below, four bent glass panels line this 42 diameter fixture.
