CAST GLASS

The glass images are created by fusing together many layers of glass powders and crushed glass. The images are then cast within a solid glass panel, up to 1" inch thick. The glass panel can remain flat or be heated in the kiln again until it takes on a curved or concave form which allows it to free stand on a shelf or mantle, or be fashioned into a light fixture. These glass panels have been in the kiln an average of 200 hours from start to finish. These one-of-a-kind pieces are signed, numbered and dated. Please call our studio for details and availability.
